Music Department

"Through a personal, active approach to learning, each student pursues his or her potential in all school endeavors--academics, the arts, athletics and activities." from John Burroughs' School Philosophy Statement

The belief that a student’s music education is equally vital and no less demanding than other academic subjects guide the Music Department’s philosophy.  Music classes at Burroughs emphasize active learning experiences in an atmosphere of cooperation and trust.
